# Contacts

Private Contacts with a Kaspa, Igra and Desk wallet each, a Contacts picker on every address field, and names that never replace transaction addresses or agreement roles.

Contacts keeps a person's wallets together under a private name. Open **Menu → Contacts** in Compact or **Contacts** on Studio's rail.

## Save and edit

Choose **Add contact**, enter a name, then fill any of the three wallets: **Kaspa wallet** (a `kaspa:` address on this network), **Igra wallet** (their `0x` address on this network's Igra), and **Desk wallet** (the Kaspa address they use for [Deal Desk](/argon-docs/using-enclave/deal-desk.md) and Kasia). At least one is required. Contacts saved earlier with extra addresses keep them under **Also saved**, where each can be removed.

Choose **Save** to validate and save. The editor closes only after the encrypted wallet has acknowledged the write. An invalid address leaves the draft open with its error. **Cancel** discards unsaved edits. Open an existing contact to edit it, copy a full address or choose **Delete contact**, then **Remove contact** to confirm.

You can save up to 200 contacts. A contact name may contain up to 80 characters.

## Choose an address

Every address field in Enclave — recipients, royalty and allocation addresses, agreement parties, Desk invitations — carries a **Contacts** action. It opens a picker: choose the person, then the wallet. Only wallets on this network are listed; a wallet the field cannot take (an Igra wallet for a Kaspa field, or a script address for a role that needs a public key) is shown disabled with the reason. When exactly one wallet fits, choosing the person fills it at once. Choosing fills the ordinary editable field. It does not approve anything.

For a KAS transfer the picker offers every wallet the person has, and the chosen wallet decides the layer: their Kaspa or Desk wallet sends KAS on Kaspa, their Igra wallet sends iKAS on Igra. A saved Kaspa wallet is not automatically a Desk wallet. Choose the wallet the person intends for the task.

## Names and roles

When an address has one unambiguous saved name on the exact network, that name can appear in rooms, conversations, Activity and SureSign. The full transaction address remains available. SureSign labels it **saved contact**, separately from a name resolved through KNS. If the same address belongs to several saved contacts, Enclave does not choose a name on your behalf.

Buyer, seller, arbiter, heir and other roles belong to each agreement. Selecting someone as a seller does not rename the contact or give them a role in any other deal. Editing or deleting a contact does not change existing covenant terms, Kasia handshakes or message history.

## Storage and privacy

The address book is stored with your encrypted Desk state, shared across this wallet's accounts. Every address keeps its own network label. Locking withdraws its public view from the interface. Saving contacts does not publish them or contact their addresses.

The recovery phrase does not recreate local contact names on another device. Keep the addresses you need independently available, just as you would keep an agreement's [paperwork](/argon-docs/using-enclave/vaults.md#paperwork).
